The Challenge

Informa Connect required a dedicated Enterprise Architect to lead and formalize architecture practices across multiple verticals. The goal was to embed strategic architecture governance, support transformation initiatives, and optimize the application landscape within a globally distributed organization.

  • Establish a consistent Enterprise Architecture Operating Model across the division
  • Standardize architecture processes, principles, and governance frameworks
  • Enhance application portfolio visibility and identify rationalization opportunities

  • Designed and implemented a TOGAF-aligned Architecture Operating Model, including principles, review boards, processes, and templates

    • Technical Debt and Waiver Registers
  • Worked closely with CISO, system integrators, and vendors to align security requirements
  • Conducted discovery of the existing estate, built architecture models, and configured LeanIX for application portfolio management
  • Facilitated capability mapping, application rationalization analysis, and cost reduction strategies
  • Collaborated with global architects and product leads to drive solution design and secure gated approvals
  • Supported multiple projects from business case through to implementation, providing strategic and technical leadership
  • Oversaw cloud-first deployments across AWS and Azure platforms
